Jerry R. Johnson

I was born in Atlanta, Georgia on Jan 7, 1939. I was raised in a lower to middle class family and received my education through Atlanta Public Schools. As such I am not your typical politician. I was not born into a rich family, I did not inherit a family fortune or marry into money. I have worked hard my entire life to provide for my family, as such my family values and my faith in God play important roles in my life and made me the man I am today.

From 1963 to 2005, I was self employed in the construction trade. Not only did I pay my way through college while doing construction, I also started a family. I received my BS in Psychology from Georgia State University in 1974. I raised a son who recently retired after nearly 21 years of service to this great nation in the US Army and a beautiful daughter who raises horses on a ranch in Virginia.

I've been an active republican since 1971. I've ran for GA State Representative and the United States Senate. I've also been active in the Virginia GOP since 1991. For the past 36 years I've envisioned an a system that exists in the political/governmental structure that is true to the people and our society. GOD finally revealed it to me and I present it to you as Amendment 28...a method and a solution.

I might also include some information about my personal history: where I grew up, where I went to school, various places I've lived. If I have one, I'll include a picture of myself engaging in an activity I enjoy, such as a sport or hobby.
